Beyond LARC: Putting People and Equity at the Center of Contraceptive Access Efforts
In this session, we will describe how social and structural determinants of health impact access to high quality contraceptive information and services and create inequities that should be the focus of contraceptive access efforts. We will present the Person-Centered Contraceptive Care (PCCC) Framework, a tool for considering potential solutions to promote equitable contraceptive access and care.

Participants at the conclusion of this webinar will be able to:
1. Explain how the predominant focus of the last decade on promoting LARC use has resulted in relative neglect of other aspects of contraceptive access and perpetuated harms as part of an ongoing legacy of reproductive oppression
2. Describe the contextual factors affecting contraceptive access and care experiences, and the continuum of care necessary to comprehensively meet individuals' contraceptive needs, as depicted in the Person-Centered Contraceptive Care Framework
3. Discuss how contraceptive programs and services can deliberately engage with structural and social factors that will influence their success and the likelihood of negative unintended consequences for certain groups to promote equity and avoid harm
